Lavelle Partners acted on behalf of the applicant in her original application in 1996.

Her award before the Tribunal was on a provisional basis and the applicant was informed that she could go back before the tribunal if her condition deteriorated to cirrhosis.

The Plaintiff instructed Lavelle Partners to investigate her circumstances. Lavelle obtained expert evidence from a gastroenterologist that her condition had deteriorated and so, this office brought a further application to the tribunal.

After a successful application to the Tribunal, Lavelle Partners secured a significant sum of compensation on behalf of the applicant together with her legal costs.
