Georgina Lanigan is a Partner and Head of the Asset & Debt Recovery Team with over 10 years’ experience as a Court litigation specialist.

She specialises in advising financial institutions and credit servicing companies in mortgage litigation, asset recovery and enforcement of security.

In addition, Georgina advises financial institutions and credit servicing companies on the appointment of receivers over residential properties in Ireland, she advises receivers on their appointment as well as advising SME’s on the recovery of debts and enforcement options.

Georgina also has a wealth of experience in the area of regulatory and compliance.

Georgina has considerable experience in Commercial Litigation and currently advises a number of leading financial institutions and credit servicing companies in the Circuit Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court in respect of proceedings for judgment, injunctive relief and asset recovery
Advising on obtaining orders for possession, orders for sale and post order judgments
Defending financial institutions and credit servicing companies in actions taken against them
Advising on the appointment of fixed charge receivers
Advising receivers on their appointment and related issues
Advising receivers and asset management companies on the enforcement of RTB Determinations
Advising a number of SME’s on the recovery of debts and the relevant Court process and enforcement options
