Rory Knight is a Solicitor in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team.
He is experienced in advising on defamation and enforcement actions, property and construction disputes, and professional negligence litigation, acting for a wide range of commercial and private clients, including banks and financial institutions.
Rory has specialist expertise in acting on behalf of children with disabilities in Judicial Review proceedings challenging State decision making in relation to care, Assessments of Need and social welfare entitlements. He has contributed to reports by a United Nations body and the Independent Living Movement Ireland on the rights for Persons with Disabilities in Ireland and internationally.
He also has extensive experience in defamation and litigation against social media and video sharing platforms, including applications to restrain defamatory publications and impersonator accounts.
