Denise Dockery is a Partner in the Property Team at Lavelle Partners.
Denise has over 20 years’ real estate experience, advising on the acquisition, sale and leasing of both commercial and residential property. She has a wide breadth of conveyancing expertise having acted for an extensive array of clients, including foreign multi-nationals, state bodies, developers, lenders, owner-occupiers, investors, landlords and tenants, as well as religious organisations.
Denise has advised on a number of high-profile and complex transactions, including the sale of HQ buildings, landlord and tenant break options, the financing of primary healthcare centres, hotels, public houses and wind farms, together with a variety of real estate financing matters.
Thought Leadership
She is a regular contributor to leading publications and industry journals including as a long-standing author of the International Comparative Legal Guide: Real Estate Laws and Regulations for Ireland, published by Global Legal Group Limited, covering key developments, practical points and commercial terms in leasing, investment, development and financing. Denise also authored a prior article examining the use of drones in the property sector and the impact on the rights of property owners.
Corporate Social Responsibility
As part of her commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility ("CSR") and Environmental, Social and Governance ("ESG") principles, Denise has volunteered with the National College of Ireland’s Early Learning Initiative and the Free Legal Advice Centre (“FLAC”). She participates annually in Pieta’s Darkness Into Light walk and has raised vital funds for Focus Ireland’s Shine A Light campaign, which seeks to prevent homelessness.
In addition, Denise has competed in Dragons at the Dock in conjunction with the Irish Property industry, helping to raise much-needed funds for the Dublin Simon Community.
