Bachelor in Laws (LL.B) from Trinity College Dublin.
Brief overview of your career:
I joined Lavelle Partners in 2015 and completed my professional training in the firm in 2017. Since then I have acted in a large number of legal disputes for a wide range of clients to include both commercial and private clients, banks, financial institutions, liquidators, examiners and administrators of estates. I have experience of working on a variety of complex cases at all levels, from the District Court to the Supreme Court.
I have a particular interest in insolvency. I have acted in several High Court cases on behalf of creditors seeking to challenge the appointment of an Examiner and I act for receivers and liquidators regularly to litigate in circumstances where they are prevented from carrying out their duties.
I also advise and act for many private clients. I regularly issue proceedings to seek relief for professional negligence, breach of contract, defamation and to seek judicial review or to obtain injunctions.
Professional memberships & accreditations:
- Admitted to the Law Society of Ireland
What I offer my clients:
I engage fully with the circumstances of each case – as part of this, I endeavor learn more about my clients’ area of business as this assists me in offering practical advice on how best to find a resolution to their legal disputes.
Why I love what I do:
I enjoy the mix of work I do and meeting people from all walks of life. I pride myself on providing excellent service to clients and getting results for them.
Since school I was always interested in studying law and becoming a Solicitor. I wanted something that would be challenging and I always believed I could develop the necessary skills to do this job.
In my free time, I enjoy consuming a large volume of sport on TV much to the chagrin of my family and balancing this by jogging with my dogs, Toby and Lola, let’s just say they are not walkers!!
