Wills and Probate Solicitor

We are looking for an experienced Wills and Probate Solicitor to join our expanding team, based in Dublin 2.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years’ post-qualification experience, handling wills and probate cases to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Advising clients on all aspects of wills and probate matters. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Making wills, including providing estate planning advice

  • The administration of estates

  • Setting up and administering trusts

  • Registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney

  • Filing Capital Acquisition Tax returns

  • Applying for Decision-Making Representation Orders

  • Drafting and advising on Family Partnerships

  • Managing caseloads from initial instruction to completion, including post-completion work

  • Working collaboratively with the Litigation & Dispute Resolution team in relation to contentious probate disputes

  • Participating in business development and networking activities as required

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of five years’ PQE handling private client wills and probate cases

  • Highly organised with a proven ability to manage a busy caseload

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Adept at managing client relations
