We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary / Assistant to join our busy and friendly Asset & Debt Recovery Team, based in Dublin 2.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Managing a high-volume, fast-moving workload
Assisting with the administration function of the team including drafting, issuing and serving letters
Instructing summons servers and tracing agents
Taking instructions from clients
Preparation of briefs
Dealing with incoming correspondence and telephone calls from agents, solicitors and defendants
Preparing reports
Liaising with court services
Ensuring safe and efficient handling of confidential data
Key Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate should have one to two years of experience working in a law firm. Previous experience in mortgage litigation debt is a significant advantage
Calm, professional and approachable manner
Excellent administration skills which demonstrate an eye for detail and an ability to organise, manage and prioritise work within a team
Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a strong team player with a desire to learn
Strong IT Skills including competency in Word, Excel, Outlook, experience of case management systems (Keyhouse is an advantage) and excellent numeracy skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
