Legal Secretary

We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our busy and friendly Conveyancing Team, based in Dublin 2.  

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing a high-volume, fast-moving workload

  • Assisting Conveyancing team with administration function

  • Taking instructions from clients

  • Liaising with clients 

  • Assisting with booklets

  • Preparation of closings 

  • Drafting letters

  • Assisting Stamp Duty and Registrations

  • Dealing with incoming telephone calls from Solicitors and clients 

  • Ensuring safe and efficient handling of confidential data

Key Qualities Required: 

  • The ideal candidate should have one to two years of experience working in a law firm. Previous experience in Conveyancing is a significant advantage

  • Calm, professional and approachable manner

  • Excellent administration skills which demonstrate an eye for detail and an ability to organise, manage and prioritise work within the team

  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a strong team player with a desire to learn

  • Strong IT Skills including competency in Word, Excel, Outlook, experience of case management systems (Keyhouse is an advantage) and excellent numeracy skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
