We are looking for an experienced General Debt Recovery Legal Executive to join our very busy and friendly Asset & Debt Recovery Team, based in Dublin 2.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Managing a high-volume, fast-moving workload
Taking instructions from clients
Drafting proceedings
Service of proceedings
Instructing summons servers and tracing agents
Drafting motions
Briefing counsel to include preparation of briefs
Dealing with incoming correspondence from agents, solicitors and defendants
Liaising with clients over court outcome and next steps
Liaising with court services
Dealing with incoming telephone calls from agents, solicitors and defendants
Ensuring safe and efficient handling of confidential data
Contributing to departmental monthly target
Key Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate should have one to three years of experience working in a law firm in the area of General Debt Recovery
Previous experience in General Debt is a must
Calm, professional and approachable manner
Excellent administration skills which demonstrate an eye for detail and an ability to organise, manage and prioritise work within a team
Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a strong team player with a desire to learn
Strong IT Skills including competency in Word, Excel, Outlook, experience of case management systems (Keyhouse is an advantage) and excellent numeracy skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
